In Progress – butterflies

I use butterflies a lot in my work. It’s a theme, a thing, something I love. With this one I started out with a sheet of teal and pink/purple paper that was super cool. So I tore it up and began placing the teal bits at the bottom, working into the purple at the top. The butterflies also follow this pattern. The saying is “What if all your dreams came true?” and “Take a chance” on the second butterfly. I need to incorporate the words into the painting a bit more, maybe with a wash or something else.
