Oak Groove Festival may be postponed

Got an email today, in the midst of my hurricane of preparing for the festival on Sunday, that because of the severe winds and weather expected, that perhaps the festival will be postponed. They aren't letting us know until Saturday at noon.

Unfortunately, if it doesn't happen, we will be out the cost of renting a tent. And there's no way to transfer the reservation to a future date, because it's still a possibility that it will happen and the rental place is not open on Saturdays.

So, I am continuing to work like it's going to happen, so that I have everything ready regardless. But still a postponement is less-than ideal.

One good piece is that a co-worker may be a lead to my putting my work up in a coffee shop. That is exciting! I also bought a scanner last night so that I can get very good representations of my paintings once the originals sell.
