Front door decor

To the left is a piece that marks the beginning of this season of creativity. I made this in the first part of February to replace the door décor I had up for winter. Bought the “C” at a craft store, along with scrapbook paper, and some stencils and stamps.

It has the elements of my new creative voice – paper, paint, depth.

This “season of creativity” is a reconnecting, re-emerging, re-imagining of what I have done previously.

I’ve always loved collage, loved the depth of what a collage could show and how interesting they could be. I also loved multi-media pieces, mixing paint, found objects, paper, anything and making something beautiful with them all. Working on instincts and intuition. But, I wasn’t really able to bring out what I had in my head before now.

This is an exciting time and I’m riding this wave of creativity for all it’s worth. Using my creative muscle seems to breed more creativity. The "C" is not currently for sale, but I'm open to commissions involving letters or other shapes.
